2024 County Convention Notice

The Libertarian Party of Warren County will hold its 2024 convention on Wednesday, September 11th, at 7 pm, at Doc’s Place in downtown Lebanon. This Convention will replace the September 11th business meeting.

We will elect members to two-year terms on the Executive Committee and consider amendments to the party Constitution and Bylaws.

If you have a proposed amendment, please email it to us before this date so that it can be posted. Notice of Convention with all proposed amendments will be available on this website.

If you plan to run for a seat on the Executive Committee, informing us in advance will allow us to place your name on pre-printed ballots. Candidates may also be nominated from the floor, but their names will need to be written in by the delegates.

The requirements to be a delegate are defined in our Constitution:

A. Has affirmed the following pledge: “I hereby certify that I do not believe in or advocate the initiation of force as a means of achieving political or social goals.”
B. Is not legally affiliated with another political party.
C. Resides in Warren County, Ohio.

Delegates may be required to show their voter history, viewable on https://lookup.boe.ohio.gov/vtrapp/montgomery/vtrlookup.aspx, to satisfy the requirements of B and C. In this history, your partisan affiliation must show as “X” (unaffiliated) or “L” (Libertarian) in the most recent primary election you participated in. You may not be a candidate, officer, or elected official for another political party.
